Who We Are

We’re a small company started out of a spare room in our house, quality, simplicity and a puff of fun are the cornerstones of what we do.

It all started when a friend of mine was talking to me about trying to preserve eggs, and while we haven't really gone the eggs route, yet, you can see where that ended up taking us! I started looking into the best way to preserve eggs, and freeze drying came up in the search engine. As I researched more into the process it I quickly realized it used a very expensive appliance, and preserving eggs was not the only thing that this miracle machine could do.

After a few more months of research, and many chats with my husband, we decided to purchase a Freeze Dryer. The condition for it's purchase was that we would start selling freeze dried products to offset the cost. There weren't many other competitors in Ontario yet, and we felt that this would be a great place to start sharing crispy and crumbly snacks with the world.

It turns out we were right! Popularity exploded due the uniqueness of the product, turning everything puffy, light and airy making it easier to eat, while also concentrating and amplifying the flavour without any additives or sweeteners. Freeze dried food really is a great on the go snack and you don't have to worry about it going bad!

With all this growth my mother hopped on the bandwagon to help out as we produced more and more. Still unable to keep up with the demand we purchased a second machine, and now a third, and we just love spending time and working together.

After all this growth we have expanded our available product line of a variety of dried fruits, candy and vegetables. We're also always experimenting in order to add to our growing list of products.
